We recommend being at the boat at least 15 minutes prior to your starting time for the trip
Our morning trips can vary from a start time of 4:30am-5:30am usually prior to Sunrise depending on the bite. Our afternoon charters can vary from 12:00-1:00pm. Call Captain Brian and he will give you the exact time as your trip draws near or just give us a call at (815) 871-0944.
Yes, if you are of legal age to do so. There is zero tolerance for illegal substances on the boat, any overindulgence will force your charter back to the dock for the safety of both you and our crew.
Tips should be earned not expected, we feel extra effort warrants gratuity. In general, the tipping of 15 - 20% of your charter is appropriate and are split between crew members.
Yes, all of our boats have stand-up restrooms (heads) aboard.
In the case that bad weather dictates your trip to be unfishable, we can either refund or reschedule your charter to another date for you. This will be decided at the discretion of the Captain.
Anyone age 16 or older is required to have a fishing license. Please purchase your Wisconsin Fishing license and Great Lakes Trout / Salmon Stamp before you get to the boat. You will need to bring a paper copy of your license with you according to the Wisconsin DNR rules for outlying waters.
We do have water aboard our boat; we do not provide any food. Customers are allowed to bring a cooler with snacks and drinks aboard your charter to enjoy.
Alcohol is Allowed – No Glass Containers! You are welcome to bring adult beverages, but please keep everything in cans or plastic for safety onboard.
Your Captain will take care of cleaning your catch at the end of each charter. Please make sure to have a cooler in your vehicle to store your fish after your trip.
We do not have an age limit on our charter boats, however most children over age 10 make the most out of the fishing trips, all children need to be accompanied by an adult.
The legal limit of Salmon and Trout is 5 fish per person, with a legal size limit of 10’. If the action is hot and we catch our limit we will pull lines and go in since we are legally done fishing.
No, we supply all the fishing equipment including rods, reels, and tackle.

Be sure to bring a separate cooler with plenty of ice to keep your salmon fresh after your trip. Nothing beats taking home your prize from a day of Salmon Fishing on Lake Michigan.
